In this role, you will support security assessments, review network segmentation, monitor security findings, and help maintain documentation for operational technology environments. You will work with cybersecurity, IT, and industrial engineering teams to improve security while recognizing the importance of system availability, safety, and operational continuity. This position is suited to an aspiring cybersecurity professional interested in industrial networks, critical infrastructure protection, and specialized security operations. ## Key Responsibilities * Assist with identifying cybersecurity risks affecting operational technology environments. * Support reviews of industrial network architecture and segmentation controls. * Help maintain inventories of OT assets, devices, and relevant software. * Review security alerts and documented findings related to industrial systems. * Assist with identifying outdated software, unsupported devices, and insecure configurations. * Support assessments of remote access controls for industrial environments. * Help document security procedures, asset risks, and remediation recommendations. * Monitor relevant security advisories affecting industrial control systems. * Collaborate with IT and OT teams to improve security visibility and risk management. * Assist with reviewing access permissions and account management practices. * Support incident response planning and cybersecurity readiness exercises. * Prepare reports and track remediation activities under established procedures. ## Requirements * Diploma or bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field; equivalent practical knowledge may be considered. * Basic understanding of networking, operating systems, and cybersecurity principles. * Awareness of industrial control systems, operational technology, or industrial networking. * Familiarity with network segmentation, access controls, and vulnerability management concepts. * Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills. * Ability to work collaboratively with technical and nontechnical teams. * Awareness of the importance of safety and availability in industrial environments. * Willingness to learn specialized OT security practices. ## Preferred Skills * Familiarity with the Purdue Enterprise Reference Architecture or industrial network segmentation concepts. * Awareness of PLCs, SCADA, DCS, or industrial control systems. * Basic knowledge of IEC 62443 or the NIST guidance for operational technology security. * Familiarity with network monitoring tools and security asset inventories. * Understanding of secure remote access and industrial system risk assessment. * Relevant certifications, academic projects, or practical labs in industrial cybersecurity are an advantage. * Experience with industrial environments is beneficial but not essential for an entry-level candidate. ## What We Offer * Remote-work arrangement, subject to employer confirmation and operational requirements. * Proposed monthly salary of AED 14,000–18,000. * Opportunities to develop specialized industrial cybersecurity knowledge. * Exposure to OT risk assessment and critical infrastructure protection. * Collaboration with cybersecurity and industrial engineering professionals. * Professional development and potential career progression in industrial security
