Role Description The Fire Alarm Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in Al Ain. This role is responsible for installing, configuring, testing, and maintaining fire alarm and life safety systems in accordance with applicable codes and company standards. Day-to-day tasks include performing system inspections, diagnosing and repairing faults, completing service reports, and coordinating with team members to ensure timely project completion. The technician will interact directly with clients to explain system functionality, provide user training, and address service inquiries in a professional manner. The role also involves adhering to safety protocols, maintaining tools and equipment, and supporting continuous improvement of installation and maintenance practices. Qualifications - Candidates should possess skills in Low Voltage Engineering relevant to fire alarm and related building systems. - Candidates should possess strong Troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently. - Candidates should possess expertise in Alarm Systems, including installation, testing, and maintenance. - Candidates should possess knowledge of Life Safety standards, codes, and best practices. - Candidates should possess solid Customer Service skills to communicate clearly and professionally with clients. - Relevant technical certification or diploma in electrical, electronics, or low-voltage systems is beneficial. - Experience working with fire alarm panels, detectors, and integrated safety systems is preferred. - Ability to read technical drawings, follow safety procedures, and work independently or as part of a team. - Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally to client sites as needed.
